Errata: CS61582 Revision G
(Reference datasheet CS61582 Dual T1/E1 Line Interface Data Sheet: July 1996, DS224PP1)
This errata notice is provided to document the difference between Revision G of the CS61582 device and the referenced Data Sheet. Errata for Revision G The Driver Performance Monitor (DPM) is specified to exit the Fail condition (DPM = 1) when the monitored driver has a one's density of greater than 12.5% over 175 pulse intervals. On Revision G devices, DPM will not go high until the one's density has increased to 25%. Pulling 1XCLK pin low requires that the REFCLK be four times the operating frequency (T1/E1), rather than eight times as stated in the data sheet. Status of Previous Errata 1. Revision C: During JTAG boundary scan testing, the device identification registers of other devices upstream of the CS61582 in the JTAG scan chain were not passed through the CS61582 from J-TDI to J-TDO. This has been corrected.
The device revision is the letter before the 4 digit assembly date code in the second line of the package marking.
