UTC U651 LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT SINGLE OUTPUT HALL EFFECT LATCH GENERAL DESCRIPTION The UTC U651 is a Integrated Hall sensor with latch designed for electronic commutation of brushless DC motor applications. The device includes an on-chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, a comparator that amplifies the Hall voltage, and a Schmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection, and open-collector output. An internal bandgap regulator is used to provide temperature compensated supply voltage for internal circuits and allows a wide operating supply range. 1 TO92S FEATURES *3.5V to 20V operation *On-chip Hall sensor with two different sensitivity and hysteresis settings. *Internal bandgap regulator allows temperature compensated operations and a wide operating voltage range. *Open-Collector 25mA Output. *Reverse Polarity Protection. 1: Vcc 2: GND 3: OUTPUT BLOCK DIAGRAM 1 Vcc REG.
