The lead spacing dimensions as specified, shall be measured from the tip of the lead to the top of the lead. The leads may have a 15 draft relative to the protector body. In circuit applications terminal leads 1 and 2 shall be connected together externally and leads 3 and 4 used for connection of the device. For proper performance and reduction of safety hazards the current flow should be from lead 3 to 4.
